Cancellation Policy
Haul Hive Rental Policies Late Return Policy Renters must return trailers on time to avoid additional charges: 15+ minutes late: Charged an extra short rental period. 30+ minutes late: Charged two short rental periods. 1+ hour late: Charged a full additional rental day. Tickets, Tolls, & Violations Renters are responsible for any tolls, tickets, or violations incurred during the rental. Charges will be billed to the credit card on file. Required Documentation All renters must provide: A valid driver’s license Proof of insurance A credit card on file Haul Hive may request digital copies for verification. Accidents, Damage & Theft Any accidents, theft, or damages must be reported to Haul Hive, law enforcement, and the renter’s insurance immediately. If a trailer is not returned within 24 hours without communication, it may be reported as stolen, and the renter may be responsible for its full replacement cost. Usage Restrictions Trailers cannot be used for: Off-road driving or illegal activities Transporting hazardous materials (without prior approval) Exceeding weight limits (GVWR, payload, or towing capacity) Renters are liable for damages resulting from improper use. Rental Extensions Renters must request extensions at least 1 hour before the rental period ends to avoid late charges and confirm availability. GPS Tracking & Inspections Haul Hive uses GPS tracking to monitor trailers. Trailers are inspected before each rental, and renters are responsible for damages caused by improper handling. Liability Limitations Haul Hive’s liability is limited to the rental fee paid. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages. Security Deposit & Fees Security deposits are refunded within 21 business days if no damages or unpaid fees are found. Any damages or fees will be deducted, and renters are responsible for any remaining balance. Cancellation & No-Show Policy Non-refundable reservation fee: The fee equals one short rental period and covers preparation and scheduling. Cancellations within 48 hours: The reservation fee is non-refundable. No-shows: The full rental amount is forfeited. By booking a rental, you agree to all Haul Hive policies and terms.
